A dream born in the valleys of Kashmir.
In 2014, Showkat Ahmad began helping visitors at Srinagar Airport find reliable transport to Gulmarg. He noticed that many visitors were overcharged, guided only to tourist traps, and missed the true warmth of Kashmiri life.
Believing that travel should feel like visiting a local family, Showkat partnered with his brother Zahoor to offer honest transport and local guiding. Step by step, they connected with local boutique hotels, houseboat owners on Dal Lake, and community guides.
Today, Kashmirify Holidays represents a collective of local hosts, drivers, and hoteliers working together to offer exceptional travel planning while supporting the valley's local economy directly.
